PUEBLO — A Colorado man has acknowledged illegally delivery rifle barrels, gun magazines and different firearms elements to Saudi Arabia and Columbia on a number of events.
The Pueblo Chieftain experiences Valentino Lopez pleaded responsible in federal courtroom Tuesday to outbound smuggling, which occurred in 2014 and 2015.
The Pueblo man shipped a number of the firearms elements to a recipient who turned out to be an undercover federal agent, and a search of Lopez’s residence in December 2015 turned up 254 rifle magazines and 63 rifle barrels.
Lopez acknowledged promoting the elements over the web and delivery them to the 2 nations, regardless of understanding that it was unlawful. He didn’t have a required license from the U.S. State Division.
Investigators say Lopez acquired not less than $25,000 from consumers in Saudi Arabia and Columbia.
