A Colorado Mesa College scholar was killed by gunfire, college officers stated Saturday.
In an e-mail to college students, Mesa president Tim Foster stated the lack of Brett Ojiyi was “from a tragic accident,” based on a Grand Junction tv station.
Simply after midnight Saturday, Grand Junction police stated they had been referred to as to a house within the 100 block of Major Road for a report of a taking pictures. Officers stated they discovered a person affected by a gunshot wound to the chest. He died on the scene.
Ojiyi was a four-year member of Mesa’s soccer group and was a present scholar on the college.
