A Longmont lady accused of stabbing one other lady with a damaged glass drug pipe and throwing a lit cigarette at a responding police officer was formally charged Friday at Boulder County Jail.

Karrine Religion Willis, 26, is charged with second-degree assault on a peace officer, third-degree assault, two counts of violating a safety order, and resisting arrest.

Willis is scheduled to seem in Boulder County District Courtroom on Jan. 10 for a preliminary listening to. She is being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.

Based on Longmont police, officers responded to an RV parked alongside a house on the 100 block of Rothrock Place late Dec. 18 and located a lady had sustained a laceration on her hand. Willis is accused of stabbing the girl with a damaged piece of a glass drug pipe throughout an argument.

When officers arrived, Willis tried to flee the realm and flicked a lit cigarette at an officer, placing him within the brow, based on an arrest affidavit.
