A skier discovered unconscious Wednesday in a wooded space on the sting of a Copper Mountain ski run was taken to a hospital, the place he later was pronounced useless.

The 63-year-old skier was discovered about 4:45 p.m. and brought to the St. Anthony Copper Mountain Clinic, in accordance with the Summit County Sheriff’s Workplace. His identification was not launched.

The coroner’s workplace will decide the trigger and method of his dying. An investigation is ongoing.
