FRISCO — Authorities recognized the skier who died after he was discovered unconscious at a Colorado ski resort final week.
The Summit Each day Information reported that the Summit County coroner has decided that 62-year-old David Gissel died from acute coronary heart failure.
Summit County sheriff’s officers say the Colorado Springs man was present in a stand of bushes on the sting of a ski run on the Copper Mountain resort on March 13.
He was later pronounced useless at a hospital.
Coroner Regan Wooden says the style of dying was pure.
