BRIGHTON — A 28-year-old Adams County man who shot his father to demise at an house north of Denver has been sentenced to 32 years in jail.
Waylon Robitaille pleaded responsible in April to second-degree homicide and was sentenced Monday for the April 28, 2018, demise of 52-year-old David Robitaille.
Adams County sheriff’s deputies referred to as to the house discovered the elder Robitaille with a gunshot wound to the top. Waylon Robitaille informed investigators he and his father had argued and had been struggling over the gun when it unintentionally fired, however prosecutor Sara Carty stated proof confirmed the capturing was deliberate.
She stated Waylon Robitaille was a number of toes away when he shot his father between the eyes.
