Ariana Grande made her American Vogue cowl debut on Tuesday, and dropped a brand-new music video to associate with the intimate interview.
The singer, 26, enlisted staffers from the crew to model her for the “In My Head” visuals, which strips Grande down to simply the necessities: her waist-grazing ponytail, thigh-high boots, an outsized, bedazzled puffer jacket and her beautiful vocals.
Within the just-released video, Grande sings and dances alone in a white field, carrying a coat straight off of cult-favorite vogue model Space’s fall 2019 runway that options comically outsized sleeves, crystal elaborations and zipper particulars.
The model instructed Web page Six Model that it’ll retail for $2,450 and is product of “techno duchess satin” and Preciosa crystals.
In a single scene, disembodied Grande-style ponytails and thigh-high boots function the star’s backup dancers, complementing the track’s surreal lyrics and the scientific setting. The video was produced by Vogue and styled by Vogue.com vogue editor Jorden Bickham.
On the journal cowl, Grande wears a black Dior gown with an outsized hat by Eric Javits ($450) and poses on the seashore together with her well-known canine, Toulouse.
Through the interview, Grande ripped off a pair of ultra-high platform Sergio Rossi boots to speak with the writer, although she wasn’t certain what the label is. She “is aware of about music,” she mentioned, and “not about garments.”
She’s clearly setting tendencies anyway — and sticking to her favorites.
