AULT, Colo. — Police say that greater than 100 sheep had been killed after two vehicles collided in northern Colorado.
The Coloradoan stories that the motive force of a Waste Administration semitrailer pulled out from a county street in entrance a semi carrying about 300 sheep on Colorado Freeway 14 simply west of Ault on Monday. The truck hauling the sheep landed on its facet. Police say the motive force was taken to the hospital with minor accidents.
The motive force of the Waste Administration semi wasn’t injured and was cited for careless driving.
The crash closed the intersection for about 4 hours. Staff eliminated the useless animals because the sheep who survived grazed in a discipline close by.
