A girl who was fatally strangled in Denver’s Globeville neighborhood final week has been recognized.

Josefina Mendez-Pantoya, 54, was pronounced useless on Wednesday, at about 1:50 a.m., within the 4700 block of Pearl Avenue, based on the Denver Workplace of the Medical Examiner. She died of “blunt pressure accidents and strangulation” and her method of demise is a murder.

A suspect has been arrested and the case has been sealed, stated Jay Casillas, a police spokesman.
